America's Fastest Law Blog started as a law school assignment in January 2021 by the Blog's creator and sole contributor, Zoe Matherne (me). A third-year law student at Penn State Dickinson, Zoe will be practicing corporate law in Wilmington, Delaware after graduation. Prior to law school, she studied history & education at College of the Holy Cross, where she was an accomplished track and cross country athlete. Her experience as a Division I runner was the impetus for her law review comment on antitrust exemptions for the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee.

In her free time, she is still an avid competitive runner, which inspired the name of this blog. Upon graduation, she hopes to become America's Fastest Lawyer (in raw speed, likely not legal services--those should always be provided diligently). Because of her interest in sports law, she hopes that this blog can serve as a platform for her legal take on running related things.

Zoe also enjoys reading and walking her miniature schnauzer, Rey.
